DC has informed retailers that a second round of titles distributed by Diamond Comic Distributors will be delayed, with the publisher saying the distributor is responsible for the issues. In some cases, DC is asking retailers using other distributors (such as UCS and Lunar) to hold their releases for a later release date.
Here is a list of titles affected, and their revised release date
– Aquaman #59 (main cover) moves from May 26 to June 2
– Aquaman #59 (variant) cover remains May 26
– The Flash #754 (variant) from May 26 to June 2
– Batman & The Outsiders #12 (both cover) remains May 26
– DC Goes To War from June 2 to June 9
– Martian Manhunter: Identity from June 2 to June 9
– The Terrifics Vol. 3: The God Game from June 2 to June 9
– Wonder Woman Vol. 1: The Just War from June 2 to June 9
– Wonder Woman: Tempest Tossed remains June 9
– Young Justice Vol. 2: Lost in the Multiverse from June 2 to June 9
The three titles previously solicited for this week – Aquaman #59, The Flash #754, and Batman & The Outsiders #12 – are all available on DC’s digital platforms (such as comiXology) despite postponed release dates to some of their print editions.
“DC has made every effort to support Diamond’s return to operations and to ensure that our products are received at their warehouses on time for their scheduled on sale dates,” the publisher explained. “Unfortunately, once DC product is received by our distributors for a specific in-store date, they are responsible for how and when they are delivered to comics shops. If you experience shipping delays, we encourage you to work with your distributor to resolve these issues.”
DC goes on to say that they have “communicated” with all its distributors regarding “these problems,” and “our expectation is that they will address these problems in a timely manner with you.”
