DC revealed to Newsarama Thursday morning that Scott Snyder, Greg Capulllo and Jonathan Glapion’s Dark Knights: Death Metal event launching June 24 has been expanded to seven issues, up one from its originally-solicited six issues.
If you’re feeling déjà vu all over again, that’s because Snyder’s 2019 Batman Who Laughs limited series with artist Jock that spun out of the original Metal series also expanded from six to seven issues mid-stream.
The publisher also revealed September will be a skip month for the event, after August’s three issues – Death Metal #3 and the two one-shot companion specials, Death Metal Guidebook and Death Metal Legends of the Dark Knights #1.
