Sylvester Stallone has revealed that he is working with Warner Bros.’s for a sequel to 1993’s cult favorite Demolition Man.
“I think there is coming,” Stallone said on Instagram, when asked about a sequel. “We’re working on it right now with Warner Bros., and it’s looking fantastic. That should come out – it should happen.”
Set in the year 2032, Stallone starred as LAPD Sgt. John Spartan – a police officer from the 1990s who was crygonetically frozen for his part in accidentally killing hostages as part of a standoff with criminal Simon Phoenix (played by Wesley Snipes) – who was also frozen with him. After Phoenix escapes in 2032, Spartan is un-frozen to once again capture him.
