Marvel Studios is shuffling up their theatrical release schedule once again, re-scheduling the already-recently-rescheduled Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness and Thor: Love and Thunder, according to Variety.
The Doctor Strange sequel has been pushed back four months, going from November 5, 2021 to March 25, 2022. This is accompanied by a change to Sony’s MCU-set third Spider-Man movie, which moves into Strange‘s November 5, 2021 date (full details on that can be found right here).
Thor: Love and Thunder gets a very slight improvement (if you’re like us and counting down the weeks), moving up from February 18, 2022 to February 11, 2022.
The trade didn’t give a reason for this change – however these days the default reason seems to be the coronavirus pandemic.
