Take a ride through through the Texas countryside in the new rural crime noir limited series Write It In Blood, which debuted earlier this week online. Writer Rory McConville and artist Joe Palmer are telling the story of two hitmen committing one last job before they retire, but of course
“On the eve of their retirement, two hitmen, Cosmo and Arthur Pryce drive through the Texas countryside with a hostage, the infamous Little Harkness, in the trunk of their car,” reads the description for Write It In Blood.
“The brothers are meant to deliver Harkness to their boss, but matters become complicated when Arthur’s recklessness jeopardises Cosmo’s retirement plans and puts a target on their backs.”
Joined by colorist Chris O’Halloran and letterer Hassan Ostmane-Elhaou, McConville and Palmer are delivering a character-driven crime drama with a plan to release new issues weekly.
