Venom 2 – now titled Venom: Let There Be Carnage – has been rescheduled from its original planned October 2 theatrical release for a new June 25, 2021 release, according to Variety.
No reason for this change was reported, though it is presumably due to production interruptions as a result of coronavirus.
The film stars Tom Hardy reprising his role as Eddie Brock/Venom, this time taking on symbiote serial killer Cletus Kasady/Carnage, played by Woody Harrelson.Venom: Let There Be Carnage will be directed by Andy Serkis.
