Adam Kubert has shared a touching story of his late father Joe Kubert and how the writer/artist/teacher entertained Adam and all the kids in the Kubert family in what became a Passover Seder tradition.
1/3. c.1970’s: So when I was a kid every year my family and I would go to my cousins house in Queens, NY for our Passover Seder. We’d pack 25 or so of us into my Aunt Rozzie’s basement for the service. After about 90 minutes of Haggadah reading we’d finally get to eat. pic.twitter.com/kJyzkvnapV

2/3. After dinner we’d be so spent and overtired the kids (and I’m sure adults) would go stir crazy. So to kind of keep the kids attention at the end of the night my dad would always do a drawing request. We’d clear the table and he’d draw something on the large brown paper…
