DC ‘exclusive’ artist Jorge Jiménez has announced that he will be drawing Batman beginning with March 4’s #90. The artist shared the news via Twitter.

“I feel very happy.. My next series is #BATMAN!!” Jiménez tweeted. “A dream comes true with one of the writers of the moment [James Tynion IV],  one of the greatest colorists in the business [Tomeu Morey], and with one of the best editors I’ve ever met, [Ben Abernathy.”

Since June 2018, Jiménez has been Justice League‘s primary artist, working with writer Scott Snyder. Snyder and Jiménez’s run on the title ends with January’s Justice League #39. Shortly after their finale was announced, Snyder mentioned that the two “have bigger chapters already planned together”.

Jiménez previously worked on solo Batman stories with Batman: Arkham Unhinged and Batman: Lost.
