William Hurt is reprising his role as General “Thunderbolt” Ross for Marvel Studios’ Black Widow, according to set photos obtained by JustJared. Hurt was photographed in a location reported to be the film’s Macon, Georgia set earlier today.
In the purported set photos, Hurt is using a red cane – the color could be an Easter Egg, referring to his character’s transformation into Red Hulk in the comic books.
Hurt last appeared as Ross in the funeral scene at the end of Avengers: Endgame.
Black Widow is scheduled to opean in theaters May 1, 2020.
