The Lucas Museum of Narrative Art is hiring a Comics Art Curator ahead of its planned 2021 launch.
Founded by George Lucas and Mellody Hobson, the Lucas Museum aims to “inspire current and future generations through the universal art of visual storytelling.” Lucas has had a decades-long appreciation for art – in addition to Star Wars being heavily inspired by Flash Gordon and the work of Jack Kirby, the writer/director co-owned a New York comics art gallery for in the 1970s called Supersnipe (with Edward Summer).
