Comic Con International: San Diego 2019 kicked off with the induction of Batman into the newly opened Comic Con Museum’s ‘Character Hall of Fame’ – the first character to receive the honor, celebrating 80 years of Batman stories.
Newsarama toured the museum’s extensive gallery of Batman memorabilia and exhibits – including close up looks at the costumes from Batman, Batman Returns, Batman Forever, and Batman & Robin, as well as costumes from Gotham and The Dark Knight.
The gallery also featured a key selection of Batman comic books, art pieces, and interactive experiences – including a “BIFF!” “POW!” themed villain punching game, and a ‘Batcave’ featuring an arcade with every Batman video game ever.
The Comic Con Museum is now open to the public in San Diego, California’s Balboa Park.
