This weekend’s Avengers: Endgame theatrical re-release will include an “unfinished” deleted scene, an intro video from co-director Anthony Russo, a sneak peek at Spider-Man: Far From Home, and a chance to get an exclusive poster (while supplies last). Marvel Studios revealed these details (and that poster) on their Twitter page, encouraging fans to use Fandango for tickets – although tickets are yet to be available on that retailer’s website.
This re-release comes nine days before that follow-up, Spider-Man: Far From Home, hits theaters.
At the same time, Endgame‘s global box office totals are now just $37.2 million shy of the record-setting Avatar – and this re-release would work to help this fourth Avengers film surpass that goal. Avatar was similarly re-released theatrically a few months after its initial release, with added scenes and content.
The Avengers: Endgame re-release is scheduled to begin in theaters June 28.
