A new interm leadership team within Warner Bros. is being organized following the exit of long-time CEO/Chairman Kevin Tsujihara, reports Variety. The group is expected to include film chairman Toby Emmerich, TV President/CCO Peter Roth, and “at least” one other company executive, with a likelihood to be a female executive.
The head of Warner Bros.’ parent company, WarnerMedia CEO John Stankey, is said to be traveling from New York to Los Angeles today, with an intent to announce the interim leadshership team on Tuesday.
Unnamed insiders tell Variety that 20th Century Fox Film chairman Stacey Snider is in consideration to replace Tsujihara on a full-time basis.
In the organizational chart of TimeWarner, DC falls under the purview of Warner Bros. Global Brands and Experiences President Pam Lifford, who it turns reports to the CEO/Chairman – formerly Tsujihara, and now whomever replaces him.
DC Films is run seperately under the auspices of Emmerich’s film division.
